Vents took part in thermal modernization of another Kyiv kindergarten

Ventilation Systems has provided modern energy-saving ventilation equipment to the kindergarden No. 11 located in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv. In this institution, the ME “Project Implementation Group for Energy Saving in Administrative and Public Buildings of Kyiv” carried out a comprehensive thermal modernization as part of one of the NEFCO projects.

The thermal modernization program suggests the implementation of a whole range of energy efficiency measures in public buildings in the capital, primarily in preschools and secondary schools, to ensure the most comfortable conditions for children’s stay and education, as well as a significant reduction in energy consumption during operation. One of the key measures in this area midernizing ventilation systems. Modern energy-saving ventilation equipment by Vents is actively used to create energy-saving systems in budgetary institutions of the capital.

When selecting the equipment for the kindergarden No. 11, the specialists of Ventilation Systems were guided by two main requirements: establishing constant and high-quality air exchange in the rooms while minimizing heat losses during the cold season. A combination of decentralized air handling units with heat recovery Mikra 150 E KP installed in public rooms, AHUs VUT 600 PE EС and exhaust fans Vents 150 M K installed in bathrooms.

The use of air handling units by Vents in the thermal modernization program of the capital’s budgetary institutions is primarily justified by their high energy efficiency, which is achieved by using energy-efficient EC motors and heat exchangers. Heat exchangers transfer the thermal energy from the exhaust air to the supply air, so that the heat remains in the room, which helps to avoid temperature contrast and additional heating costs. The energy recovery efficiency of Mikra 150 E KP reaches up to 88%. The built-in temperature sensor, as well as optional humidity and carbon dioxide sensors enable the units to automatically change operating modes, ensuring optimal air exchange based on the needs.

The modernization of the ventilation system of the kindergarten No. 11 allowed to reduce energy consumption for heating, and most importantly, to improve the indoor microclimate in the institution, which had a positive impact on the health and well-being of children.

Ventilation Systems expresses its gratitude to the ME “Energy Saving Project Implementation Group in Administrative and Public Buildings of Kyiv” for fruitful cooperation and implementation of environmentally important projects in Ukraine. Thank you for your trust!
