Products by VENTS for kitchens and bakeries
Work in industrial kitchens and bakeries is carried out in conditions of high temperature, humidity and large concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Due to open flames and powerful electric equipment, a kitchen is also a high-risk area for fire hazards. To create comfortable and safe working conditions and prevent fire in kitchen premises, specialized ventilation equipment is used.
Kitchen ventilation should provide effective extraction of excessive heat from stoves, ovens and other kitchen appliances, removal of steam, smoke, various odors, as well as maintaining comfortable humidity. In addition, kitchen rooms should be equipped with special ventilation devices for forced smoke removal and air supply in case of fire. Vents offers a number of effective solutions in this area based on the use of kitchen exhaust fans VSK and KSK, smoke exhaust fans VKPD and VKT, as well as supply units and fans MPA EC, Boost, Boost-I, VKM, VKP and VKPI.
Centrifugal kitchen fans in noise-insulated casing Vents VSK and Vents KSK are designed for continuous extraction of contaminated air with temperatures up to 120 °С, containing fat (when using fat filters), which makes them an optimal solution for use in the kitchens of restaurants, cafés and industrial bakeries. The motors of both fans are located outside the air flow and are separated from the impeller with a metal panel.
Vents VKPD dual-purpose fan is used for forced removal of smoke, heated gases and combustion products in case of fire in the kitchen, as well as for general exhaust ventilation of kitchen areas. The fan is able to remove smoke and impurities in the air at temperatures up to +400 °C for 120 minutes, as well as to operate continuously at air temperatures up to 100 °C.
Roof exhaust fan Vents VKT is designed to increase the draught and exhaust flue gases with temperature up to 200 °C for five hours. The device provides an air flow of up to 1000 m3/h and can be used for extraction of hot smoke from chimneys, stoves and open fire sources. The casing of the fan is made of galvanized steel, with polymer coating, providing durability to weather conditions and aggressive media. The motor of the ventilating device has built-in thermal protection and is removed from the air flow.
Active removal of contaminated air from kitchen areas also requires a constant supply of fresh air. In catering establishments, this function is performed by air handling units and duct fans, which create a supply air pressure that prevents contaminated air from entering the dining rooms and other areas.
Vents MPA EC air handling units are ready-to-use ventilation units that provide air filtration, heating and fresh air supply to the premises. The units are made in a heat- and sound-insulated steel casing with an aluzinc coating and provide an air flow of up to 5000 m³/h.
Vents inline fans – Boost, Boost-I, VKM, VKP (EC), VKPI (EC), etc. – provide air flow up to 15000 m³/h and are manufactured in plastic and metal casings with polymer coating. The use of high-efficiency EC motors in some models allows to reduce power consumption by 35–50%, while ensuring high air flow and low noise level, which is especially important when using fans in public catering establishments.
The Vents product range includes all the necessary equipment for any catering facility’s ventilation system, which will ensure compliance with air quality standards in all areas of the facility, including kitchens and bakeries.
