VUTR P EC – the new air handling unit with rotary heat exchanger designed for suspended installation
Not so long ago air handling units used to be found only in large-scale projects such as offices, shopping and service centres, hospitals, hotels, airports, railway hubs etc.
Enormous air handling units (air conditioners) fitted with high-performance fans and huge rotary heat exchangers and chilling chambers adorned rooftops proclaiming technological perfection.
Smaller projects usually had to make do with relatively simple ventilation systems for continuous air exchange while air cooling was handled by simple split systems. As times changed energy prices kept growing. The new reality called for a new approach to air handling suitable for large and small spaces alike. Engineering efforts gave rise to a new form factor of compact air handling units providing heat recovery with moisture recovery to follow suit. Such units help considerably reduce the consumption of energy required for heating,ventilation and air conditioning, and the degree of savings directly depends on heat exchanger type.
Introducing a new arrival from VENTS – the VUTR P EC air handling unit with rotary heat exchanger designed for suspended installation.
Rotary heat exchanger. This heat exchanger suitable for any climate simultaneously recycles heat and moisture for ultimate humidity control.
Main technical data. Connected air duct diameter – 125/160 mm, air flow – 230/430 m3/h, power -60/160 W (760/1560 with heat exchanger), noise level – 21/33 dBA, heat recovery efficiency – 66-78 %.
Unit height: 25 cm (min), 35 cm (max).
Filters: 2 supply filters (coarse and fine) and 1 exhaust filter. The unit can be additionally upgraded with a HEPA filter.
Heater: available for cold climatic zones.
Kitchen hood: the kitchen hood duct can be connected via the fifth pipe for an optimum use of the mounting space.
Extra accessories: in addition to a set of replaceable filters the unit can be fitted with various air control sensors as necessary.
