Control ventilation by Vents with your voice
We have repeatedly mentioned the wide range of control options for ventilation units by Vents. The use of the modern A21 automation system in many of the company’s products enables them to be integrated into the Smart Home system and controlled using smartphones via the Vents Home app. However, these are not all of the benefits available to the user. What may be of particular interest to many consumers is the voice control of devices by Vents through the Google Home app and the Google Assistant voice assistant.
Google Home is one of the biggest and most popular smart home platforms that enables you to set up and manage various devices in your home. Users of smartphones are well aware of the Google Assistant service, which is activated by the “Hey Google” command and allows them to get answers to questions asked by voice. Another useful feature of the service is the ability to control home devices using voice commands. For this service to work, home devices must be connected to your home Wi-Fi network, added to the Vents Home app, and then synchronized with the Google Home app. You can communicate with Google Assistant in one of eight languages (English, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch, French, Spanish).
Many ventilation units by Vents support the voice control service thanks to modern automation and built-in Wi-Fi modules. Such devices are the Arc Smart residential fans, decentralized units Twinfresh Expert, Twinfresh Style WiFi, Twinfresh Atmo, Breezy, Breezy Eco, Mikra 100 WiFi, Mikra 200 ERV WiFi, as well as all air handling units with the A21 controller in place (Enave-C, Enave P, VUTR VE EC, VUT/VUE VB EC, VUT/VUE 180 P5B EC, VUT/VUE 270 V5B EC, etc.).
Units by Vents can either be controlled remotely using the Google Assistant on a smartphone, or by voice using a Google Nest smart speaker located nearby in the room. A smartphone, tablet, or smartwatch with the Google Home app installed can be used as the smart gadget for the purpose. The smart speaker is capable of recognizing voice commands and switching on the necessary modes of ventilation equipment. The list of commands for controlling ventilation equipment by Vents is clearly specified and may be as follows: “Hey Google, turn on the ventilation”, “Hey Google, turn off the fan”, “Hey Google, set the living room fan to speed one”, “Hey Google, set the fan speed to 36%”, and so on.
With the Google Home platform, you are two taps away from creating different scenarios of interaction between ventilation units by Vents and sensors and smart devices of different brands, as well as setting up a customized ventilation schedule for each day of the week, expanding the standard features of the Vents Home app.
Ventilation devices by Vents are real autonomous climate stations that embody the cutting-edge solutions to meet the demands of the most demanding users. And controlling these devices by voice ensures maximum convenience and provides the user with a comfortable microclimate at any time.
