VENTS Boost-I – quiet operation with high aerodynamic characteristics
Boost-I series fans are inline sound-insulated mixed-flow fans recommended for use in supply and exhaust ventilation systems of various commercial or industrial premises that require low-noise operation of ventilation, e.g. libraries, conference halls, educational institutions, kindergartens, etc.
These fans are designed to be used with round air ducts with a diameter of 200 to 250 mm and organically combine the best aerodynamic characteristics and properties of axial and centrifugal fans. Sound-insulated design ensures quiet operation of the fan despite powerful airflow capacity and high performance up to 1.670 m³/h.
Advantages of Boost-I series fans:
✔ Casing made of galvanized steel with a 30 mm layer of sound-absorbing foam.
✔ Hybrid impeller, diffuser and directing vanes facilitate smooth air distribution, high performance and reduced noise levels while ensuring efficient operation.
✔ Energy-efficient single-phase three-speed AC motors equipped with thermal switches and ball bearings for protection from overheating and continuous operation up to 40.000 hours.
✔ Airtight terminal box located on the casing and used for connecting the fan to the mains.
✔ Fan speed may be optionally controlled by either a built-in switch or by ordering a P3-5.0 external switch.
✔ Mounting brackets on the fan casing facilitate easy ceiling mounting of the fan.
✔ Several fans can be mounted in parallel or in series in order to increase performance or working pressure within the system.
