Air curtains PVZ
Air curtains are designed against cold or hot air streams from outside into door openings or gateways.
The height or width of the covered open areas ranges from 2 to 5 meters.
The air curtains are suitable for all the crowded premises with increased traffic load. Designed for application in manufacturing premises, stocks, garages, car service centers and car wash shops, shopping malls, super- and hypermarkets, conference and exhibition halls, and other similar-purpose premises.
Design
The air curtains and their components are manufactured of galvanized steel in 4 standard sizes depending on the capacity. A rectangular duct high pressure fan is applied for air supply. The panel filter of G4 class provides air filtration against dusting. The air heating is provided by means of a water or electric heater.
Should water serve as a heat carrier these curtain types are designed for the premises with the temperature not below 0оС only. The air distribution is performed through the slit sections. The standard slit sections are of 1 and 1.5 m length that enables any type selection for a specific door opening.
Fan motor
Four- or six-pole asynchronous motors with external rotor and forward-curved blades impeller made of galvanized steel. The fans with such turbine modification are featured with relatively high pressure differential and high air flow capacity. For thermal overheating protection thermal contacts with terminals are built in the motor coil winding for outer protection devices connection.
Mounting
Both horizontal and vertical mounting is possible. In case of horizontal installation the air curtain is fixed above the door opening and creates the air stream vertically downwards along the whole opening width. In case of vertical installation the curtain is fixed at one side or at both sides of the opening and the air is streamed horizontally. One vertical curtain is enough for the opening with the surface 10 to 12 m2 and for larger surfaces for larger surfaces air curtains at both sides are required. That enables effective area increase.
