VENTS Awards Student Olympiad Winners
In line with the established tradition VENTS continues to commend academic excellence – this time awarding the winners of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the special subject “Heat/Gas Supply and Ventilation” which was hosted as usual by the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture.
The entries were dedicated to heating, gas supply and ventilation solutions. Eighteen students from cities and towns all over Ukraine came to take part in a tough challenge.
To everyone’s surprise this year the prizes were distributed among five students despite only three steps on the rostrum. This fact equally astonished both the organizing committee and the jury: no matter how hard they tried to single out the winners, the students vying for each prize did equally well.
Therefore, the top five Olympiad winners were:
1 place – Andrey Kuznetsov (Kiev);
2 place – Bogdan Lukashevich (Rovno) and Alina Baranova (Kharkov);
3 place – Ruslan Shilov (Kharkov) and Yekaterina Dudnik (Odessa).
We are always happy to attend such motivational events and get a chance to meet the future generation of ventilation experts. The winners’ efforts were rewarded with considerable money prizes and the company’s state-of-the-art silent-running Quiet fans.
