A growing worldwide demand for VENTS products requires “Ventilation Systems” to focus on constant development and optimisation of its production facilities. To meet the market demands the company is actively expanding production adopting state-of-the-art equipment and technology. The extension of the single-block air handling unit shop marked an important milestone in meeting these goals. The engineers have already fitted the new space to house the shop with a high-performance assembly line for small and medium-size ventilation units.
The acquisition of the assembly line, which consists of two production lines, makes the single-block air handling unit shop fully prepared for the challenges of today and tomorrow. The bespoke lines were made to meet the unique requirements of “Ventilation systems”. The operating machinery was delivered with a complete set of accessories such as tool holders, consumables stands, assembly jigs etc.
The new line creates a more comfortable working environment for the shop personnel. The equipment of each workstation facilitates the specific jobs at every given point of the assembly line. This helps the personnel who are manning the line to avoid unnecessary movement and work since all the necessary things are always at hand. The new line is also expected to improve work discipline since assembly operations require constant close interaction between all the line and shop workers. Each of the two lines will be manned by a team of eight creating at least 16 new jobs, and each team will be assigned a dedicated foreman.
The launch of new production lines will help to optimise the assembly of supply and exhaust units at the factory, boost the output and improve product quality.
