VENTS equipment to bring fresh air into Kyiv-Svyatoshinsky district schools
Being a responsible corporate citizen VENTS takes an active part in developing local community public services and infrastructure. The company’s most recent contribution made in accordance with the local council plans included installation of modern ventilation systems at two general education schools in the villages of Zabirya and Bilohorodka.
Until recently the students and professors of school No.1 of Belohorodka suffered from mould appearing on the walls and ceiling of the school gym due to inadequate ventilation and poor air exchange. This used to be a great concern for both the staff and the parents. Apart from the depressing looks the mould can have a detrimental effect on the general state of health causing serious illnesses. In addition to that a lack of fresh air in adults and especially children leads to quick tiredness and poor assimilation of new material. In turn the school in Zabirya also lacked proper ventilation in the cookroom of the school canteen resulting in a transfer of odours into the corridors and classrooms. VENTS, a well-established leader and supplier of innovative solutions was called upon to finally address the shortcomings.
Ventilation in Zabirie school (cooking shop in the canteen)
The company experts developed ventilation designs in consideration of all the mission-critical aspects to ensure proper air exchange and create an optimum microclimate. In particular, the gym of Bilohorodka school received the following upgrades: an MPA 3200 Е supply unit, a VKP 600х300 EC exhaust fan and aluminium grilles with protective polymer coating. The cookroom of Zabirya school canteen was upgraded with an MPA 1800 Е supply unit and a KSK 250 4D kitchen fan in a noise-insulated casing.
Ventilation in school no. 1 in Belogorodka
The supply units developed by VENTS represent the current state-of-the-art in European power-saving ventilation technology ensuring consistent supply of fresh air into the serviced spaces as well as its filtration and heating. The high-performance VENTS KSK and VKP series exhaust fans can efficiently extract warm stale air up to 100°С. It should be noted that the equipment was installed and commissioned under the direct supervision of the VENTS experts for the ultimate peace of mind of all the parties concerned.
Upgrading the school ventilation systems with modern equipment supplied by VENTS has allowed to completely get rid of the adverse effects of the inadequate existing infrastructure such as stale air and mould as well create a comfortable microclimate for a better learning.
