VENTS Opens a New Industrial and Logistics Complex
No modern home can do without a domestic fan. This indispensable element of a bathroom, toilet or kitchen does the routine, but extremely important job of getting rid of stale air and unpleasant odours.
VENTS is the largest manufacturer of domestic fans worldwide. Our company has been consistently recognized for the high quality and diverse range of its products, a wide range of their technical parameters and elegant designs in almost a hundred countries of world.
To meet the constantly growing demand among our Ukrainian and global partners late last year VENTS launched the project for expanding the manufacturing and warehouse facilities of the domestic fan assembly floor. In a matter of months the new industrial and logistics complex was erected and the new assembly lines became operational before the end of February. The new complex buildings are equipped with state-of-the-art general utilities as well as heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems. It should be noted that these systems have been designed by the VENTS engineers and assembled using the range of the company’s ventilation equipment including the AirVents air handling unit, air heaters and other ventilation equipment from the diverse range offered by VENTS.
In the early summer all the pre-commissioning work specific to the new floor was completed in order to enable all the aspects of the industrial and logistic complex operation.
The newly built spaces have been designed with maximum working and recreational comfort in mind. The changing rooms, showers and restrooms as well as all other units meet all the applicable requirements to accident prevention and labour safety.
The added capacity of the new floor resulted in a tripled output of VENTS household fans of various series, models and modifications.
Each production department has a dedicated quality control unit where the assembly process is controlled by expert engineers. The public address system ensures efficient communication with the assembly line personnel.
The new assembly lines benefit from an automatic quality control alert system similar to those used in large-scale automotive factories to halt the production line and alert the quality inspectors about a problem. Whenever a fan assembly line worker spots a discrepancy which may render the end product faulty an alert signal is sent immediately which activates a yellow light at the foreman’s station. After a prompt remedy of the problem the warning light goes off or if the problem cannot be resolved promptly the light changes to red which indicates a line shutdown alert.
The launch of the new industrial and logistics complex by VENTS has generated new jobs. In turn, the new complex has enabled VENTS to create a closed controlled environment for storing parts and components, production and delivery of finished products.
This important milestone in the company’s evolution has reconfirmed VENTS’ international reputation of a reliable employer and partner.
