The thirteenth international exhibition for engineering equipment and innovation “Aqua-Therm Kiev 2011” has closed the last exhibition day. 750 participants from 31 countries were presenting their new products for water supply, ventilation and air conditioning, waterproofing, plumbing and water pools from 16th to 19th May, 2011.

Traditionally the largest exposition sector was dedicated to HVAC segment.

It is for thirteenth years in succession, since the very start of the exhibition “AquaTherm Kiev”, the company VENTS has been participating in the exhibition to show their ventilation technological innovations.

This year within the framework of this enormous exposition the company exhibited more than 40 domestic and industrial ventilation products made by VENTS.

Energy saving air handling units designed for industrial and commercial ventilation constituted the majority of the exhibited items.

VENTS company has enlarged the model range of VUT series air handling units and added some more modern energy saving innovation.

The new energy saving unit with rotary heat exchanger VUT R 700 EH EC provoked the most interest among the visitors. It is equipped with a high-efficient and low watt EC motor with capacity up to 700 m3/h. Recuperating efficiency of the unit reaches 85%. Application of the rotary heat exchanger allows recuperating not only sensible heat energy but latent heat energy that is transferred with moisture in the air and thus ensures comfortable microclimate inside.

VUT 200 PW EC model equipped with EC motor, a new air handling unit for suspended mounting, attracted the visitors’ attention due to high capacity reaching 2000 m3/h and small dimensions as compared to standard frame and module units of the same performance.

Another popular new product, the air handling unit VUT 150 EH EC, is a part of decentralized ventilation products family. It is featured with high heat recuperating efficiency up to 95% and maximum air capacity up to 120 m3 /h which makes it suit well for small residential and commercial premises.

The destratificator DRF was exhibited as an effective product designed to solve the perennial energy saving problem in large-scale high commercial and industrial premises by arranging permanent air circulation aimed to minimize air temperature drop between air flow under ceiling and air flow in occupied areas at human height.

High-efficient thermal and sound-insulated in-line centrifugal VS and KSD fans that are compatible with air handling units rated for low noise applications were also popular among the visitors.

Special attention was drawn to the air handling unit AirVents that was installed directly on the stand. It is a complex solution that ensures a compact and fully-featured ventilation system. Modularity of the system is its basic advantage. The modular air handling units AirVents consist of functional sections that can be integrated in any combinations to suit operating demands at various complexity sites.

Application of energy saving technology is one of the priorities for the corporate development; so we make a lot of efforts to improve efficiency and functionality of new models.

The decentralized suspended air handling unit with energy recovery VUE 100 P mini and wall-mounted unit CW Micra fully meet the above technological requirements. These units are distinguished by small size, low noise level and low energy demand and are very practical in small residential and commercial premises that require balanced mechanical ventilation and comfort microclimate.

CWP and CWM series units were also positively evaluated. High-efficient ceramic heat exchanger with recuperating efficiency up to 90% serves to minimize operating costs for heating or cooling and provides humidity balance inside. Through-the-wall installation with a telescopic duct makes its installation very simple. The CWP and CWM series units are designed for use in any residential and commercial buildings.

It is worth saying that all the air handling units with heat or energy recovery made by VENTS had already been highly evaluated by American and European visitors during exhibitions abroad held in spring.

Special attention was given to new products by HVAC professionals at the first-rate international exhibition for climatic engineering, plumbing and water supply systems in Frankfurt in March 2011.

The exhibition “AquaTherm Kiev” traditionally showed keen interest and loyalty of both B2B and retail customers to the VENTS products.
