The International construction exhibition “Hi-technologies in building materials market 2011” was held 17-20 March 2011 at the International Exhibition Misheel Expo Center in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. 97 companies working in construction segment presented their products at this exhibition. This exhibition is aimed at adoption of up-to-date energy saving ecological solutions in construction industry and takes place annually in March before the building season starts. It is a hot time for construction specialists because of its short duration from early April up to end of September in view of local climatic peculiarities.

VENTS products were exhibited at the Mongolian market for the first time. We participated together with our Mongolian partner, Building’s Technology Ltd Company and occupied the largest exhibition stand with 18 m2 space.
Our visitors that mostly came from trade and mounting companies were suggested complex solutions for ventilation system arrangement of any complexity.

Plenty of low quality Chinese products at the Mongolian market strike the eye. Therefore the Mongolian HVAC experts that came to the VENTS exhibition stand were searching for new non-standard solutions for specific projects. In contrast to other manufacturers, the VENTS experts were able to suggest manifold solutions for ventilation systems layout and arrangements based exclusively on own products which saves time and efforts for the clients to seek for other ventilation components’ suppliers.

The VENTS exhibition stand was distinguished by a wide product range that included design fans, air distribution units, VK VMC and VKP mini multiple-intake ventilation systems, air handling units with heat recovery VUT mini, mono-pipe exhaust ventilation systems VN and other products.

According to the exhibition results, the VENTS products both for residential and industrial application have high demand at the Mongolian market. The visitors especially stressed the need of the air handling units with heat recovery. The share of the imported oil products in Mongolia reaches 95% and the electric energy is supplied mostly from neighboring Russia. Such energy dependence in the country generates keen interest to various energy saving technologies, including ventilation. Besides, large-scale construction with mechanical ventilation demand calls for design and mounting companies’ attention to our air handling units. For large-scale construction VENTS Company suggests the modular air handling units AIRVENTS with air capacity up to 40 000 m3/h.

Considering high professionalism and reputation of our Mongolian partners, Building’s Technology Ltd, in HVAC segment, VENTS products has a high potential at the Mongolian market. Already now we have a number of projects designed with VENTS products. Among them is a building of the ruling party in Mongolia that includes 7 AirVents air handling units with heat recovery and a lot of domestic and industrial ventilation products. Furthermore, other projects, to be exact, the new 24 floor 5 star hotel Tuushin in Ulaanbaatar downtown and the shaft tunnel 97 m long for the richest copper subsoil Oyu Tolgoi are designed by our experts. We also work at design of a new Radisson SAS hotel and the 14 floor office building Tsast.

Within the exhibition frames VENTS experts organized the issue-related seminar for design engineers that were invited by the Building’s Technologies partners. The Mongolian professionals displayed active interest in residential and industrial ventilation products and asked questions about specific application for existing and future projects. Each guest was presented with a full set of promotional materials for cooperation with VENTS.
