The 14^th international exhibition for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, water supply, renewable energy, plumbing and water pools «Aqua-Therm Kiev 2012» was held from 15^th to 18^th of May 2012 in the International Exhibition Center.

Traditionally we have participated in this prominent for CIS countries event. The corporate stand was presented in the “Cool Clima 2012” sector specifically designed for ventilation, air heating and conditioning. All four days of the exhibition were marked by high activity of the VENTS visitors. VENTS staff was keeping communicating all the time with our guests about advantages and characteristics of the products and showed the unit operation live.

No doubt for such vivacity – this year VENTS has presented not only a wide range of popular commercial and industrial ventilation but a number of unique energy saving products – brand new series of air handling units and innovative residential fans iFan and QUIET.

New residential fan iFan is the first intelligent VENTS fan that is able to monitor and control operation modes according to individually set parameters with the specifically designed ultramodern integrated automation. The intellectual VENTS iFan is the ideal solution for ventilation of bathrooms based on the latest ventilation developments.

The silent energy saving VENTS QUIET was the second surprise for the VENTS clients. The innovative VENTS QUIET is a stylish extract fan designed to create a new comfort level in the bathroom with its efficient ventilation at economical and noiseless operation.

Among energy saving new products 2012 we have exhibited a number of air handling units with high-tech EC motors and newest heat exchangers specially developed for efficient energy-saving ventilation for residential, commercial and industrial applications.

This year we have developed the air handling unit VENTS VUT 300 EVK mini EC with heat recovery combined with a kitchen hood for removal of polluted air from kitchen premises. VENTS VUT 300 EVK mini EC has two operation modes – as a kitchen hood connected to the ventilation shaft for extract air removal or as a unit with heat recovery to ensure air supply and extract as well as air heating if required which is possible due to a built-in electric heater.

The series VENTS VUT 300 EV mini EC is a similar product without a kitchen hood. It is used for arrangement of supply and extract ventilation in houses, flats, small premises. The units are featured with air capacity up to 330 m³/h and heat recuperation up to 85%.

Other new products were represented by two innovative ceiling mounted air handling units with two heat exchangers – VUE2 250 P EC with energy utilization (two cellulose energy recovery exchangers ) and VUT2 250 PU EC with heat recovery (two aluminium cross-flow heat exchangers). Two heat exchangers enable extremely high heat exchange and energy recovery rate for ceiling-mounted air handling units.

The new air handling unit with heat recovery VUT 320 E2V EC with heat recovery has two electric heaters. The first one is located at inlet to the heat exchanger and operates to warm up intake air up to the temperature to prevent the heat exchanger plates freezing. This enables trouble-free and continuous operation of the unit at low outside temperatures. The second heater located downstream of the heat exchanger is designed to warm supply air temperature up to comfortable feeling. The unit ensures heat exchange efficiency up to 85% and is featured with new energy saving characteristics combined with high efficiency.

Another new product for efficient ventilation of private and commercial premises is VUT 350 UE EC (with electric heater) / VUT 350 U EC with original casing design and angle spigots for versatile mounting of the air ductworks and new control logic of the integrated automation.

The popular series of the air handling units with heat recovery MICRA was supplemented by a new product. The new MICRA 150 E unit with air warming up and enhanced air capacity up to 150 m³/h has become of the exhibition hits. The best combination of the unit size, air capacity and capabilities make the MICRFA 150 E the ideal economy solution for private houses and apartments.

Four “Aqua-Therm 2012” exhibition days just slipped away for all the participants. We are happy that this event attracts a lot of participants, goes in step with the time and remains a subject exhibition platform for the construction industry players from year to year.
