New catalogue for X-VENT energy-efficient duct air handling units

VENTS presents a new catalogue of X-VENT ventilation systems designed to ensure proper air exchange and outstanding occupant comfort in a diverse variety of spaces. Unlike other ventilation systems X-VENT units offer a number of significant advantages which can easily tip the scales while comparing against the competition.

X-VENT really shines in application cases where space is limited, no ventilation chambers are available or the space profile requires maintaining a specific microclimate. By customising the unit components users can create a truly bespoke ventilation system to suit a particular mission – from a simple exhaust ventilation system to an integrated energy-efficient air-handling unit offering the benefits of heat recovery and managed by a multifunctional automatic control system.

And that is not to mention outstanding installation flexibility. X-VENT units offer a quick ventilation solution for buildings lacking a proper system of ventilation shafts and air ducts laid out during the erection. Compared to bulky centralised air-handling units which take up the precious usable space these duct units have a much smaller footprint and can be easily concealed under suspended ceilings. Yet, make no mistake: despite being smaller in size these units match or outperform centralised air-handling ones in terms of technical performance which is often enough to seal the deal.

The functionality of a particular X-VENT unit depends on its structural components all listed in the new catalogue. The catalogue lets you choose from a diverse variety of duct fans, heaters, coolers, heat exchangers, various electric accessories and the special feature of this edition – automatic equipment options for the regulating stations.

Selecting just the right automatic equipment for the mission is key for arranging energy-efficient supply and exhaust ventilation systems equipped with air heaters as such multifunctional ventilation systems can only reach their full potential with high-performance management assets. This is why the X-VENT catalogue features automatic regulating stations for ventilation systems equipped with water coils (SL-Aqua) and those with electric heaters (SL-Electric) which regulate and control the equipment operating conditions as well as protect the mission-critical components.

SL-Aqua Control board                                   SL-Electric Control board

The automatic equipment offers extended functionality including fan speed adjustment and fan operation monitoring, maintaining pre-set supply air temperature, automatic unit operation to a weekly timers, supply and exhaust air damper electric actuator operation, heat exchanger protection against freezing, filter contamination control and much more.

An X-VENT unit with customised components can be an ideal ventilation solution for a variety of industrial and commercial applications offering the very best in energy efficiency and value for money.
